I was delighted to be asked to photograph the latest addition to this lovely family in Whitstable, Kent. I've done a few outdoor sessions for this family before and have watched their 2 boys grow so it was very special to be asked to capture baby Martha while she was still very tiny. It was also my first newborn session since the lockdown restrictions were lifted so I was elated to be able visit my clients in their own home.
We started the session with everyone together, or at least that was the plan - sometimes not everyone is in the mood for photos, and that's ok :-) The good thing about in home newborn sessions is that we have lots of time together and photos can be interspersed with playing, feeds, nappy changes and generally seeing to everyone's needs. I go with the flow and work around you, so there's never any pressure.
Martha's big brothers played with Dad while I got some shots of Martha with her Mummy and some photos of her on her own.
The rest of the session was filled with lots of laughter and I thoroughly enjoyed spending the morning with this gorgeous family!
