Zanda wanted to capture the special milestone of Sarah turning one year old and what better way to do it than a photo shoot amongst bluebells! Bluebells evoke very special memories for Zanda and her husband as they spent a lot of time walking in the woods behind Ashford hospital, when Zanda was in labour - willing things to speed up. Zanda was keen to get some photos with bluebells and we found a beautiful quiet spot to hold the shoot at golden hour. Although it was a cloudy and showery evening we managed to get some gorgeous natural photos. We kept to the paths and were very careful not to cause any damage to the amazing carpet of bluebells. It was wonderful to see this family again, after photographing them near Canterbury several months before. I love it when clients return and feel like old friends, and I especially love seeing how babies have grown. Sarah was an absolute joy to photograph, smiley, animated and excited to be outdoors with her Mum and Dad.
