Before moving to Kent, my husband and I were part of a fantastic church in Richmond Upon Thames called Duke Street Church. We've since been back for visits, and always receive a very warm welcome and have many happy memories from our time there, so I was delighted to be asked to provide updated headshots of the staff at the church. After discussing the Church's requirements, we decided it would be good to steer away from formal headshots with a corporate feel and rather capture the staff looking relaxed and natural. After scoping out the local area, I chose to photograph the church staff around Richmond Green which provided a natural backdrop with some shade from the harsh midday sun. I spent a few minutes with each staff member and gave a little direction and a few fun prompts to help them look their best and to get those natural smiles. The staff were very happy with their headshots which are now displayed around the church and on the website.
