The Everyday Storytellers - Week 9
I have fond memories of building dens when I was little. My sister and I would use whatever we could find - the clothes horse, chairs, dining table, trees and an array of blankets and sheets. My kids have been doing the same lately. Their little shelters serve multiple purposes: a house for a tea party, a place to have a sleepover, an army encampment beside a trench and a place to hide. While I love their ramshackle dens, it has been fun to play in a borrowed teepee this week....and of course, it looks great in photos ;-)
I hope you enjoy this week's contributions from 'The Everyday Storytellers'. If this is the first blog of mine you've read we are mothers who span across four different countries and have 22 children between us. We are all passionate, hard-working women with one common goal in mind. To document childhood.
Our hope is to grow in our craft, inspire each other and preserve our children’s memories. Our goal is to document with intention, dedicating time each week to create a collection of images that tell the story of our everyday lives. The calm and the chaos. The beauty and the mess. The magic in the everyday details. The perfectly imperfect moments that weave together and make up our lives.
Every Tuesday, we each post an image on Instagram and create a loop. If you don't follow me on Instagram, feel free to www.instagram.com/louisabedfordphotography
